++++INLOADING DATAFILE 008++++ Annual Training
I have a training exercise for the National Guard for the next three weeks, so I'll probably not be posting anything till the 14th of March. If the internet there lets me I'll try to do one on the finished dias though.

++++INLOADING DATAFILE 007++++ WIP Dias of Destruction progress report
Ok the Dias of Destruction commission is almost done now, I'm just working on the last few details with it right now. I'm VERY pleased with how it has turned out so far, and so is Jason (Check out his happy ravings about it here: ADHDGaming). So here are the new pictures of it.

++++INLOADING DATAFILE 006++++ WIP Dias of Destruction commission
So this post might look familiar for anyone who follows my friend Jason's work over at adhdgaming.blogspot.com, but here is my take on my Dias of Destruction project for him. Anyways, Jason requested that I make an appropriate model for Abstrudael Vect for his upcoming Dark Eldar army, and I immediately started having ideas on how to do it. We both wanted to make a model to represent him on foot and one to represent his "pimp-mobile" Dias of Destruction, and after telling Jason what I would need component's wise I got to work. Oh, and I hope to be the first to actually make a really great representation of Vect in the community as no one seems to have done so till now.
Its still a work in progress but here is where things stand so far:

++++INLOADING DATAFILE 005++++ Truescale Ultramarines WIP
Hey guys its Jon Scott, the guy with really cool IG army from the summer if you don't remember me. Anyways I've been working for the last few months on a really big commission for a friend doing an entire army of Truescale Ultramarines for him.
Rather than do them the way most people have by making each and every guy individually I made my own complete truescale kits with 13 torsos, 7 leg sets, 9 shoulder pads, and something like 20 arms.
Here are some of the pictures we have so far.
Oh, and I can make more of these rather easily if anyone wants to commission me for some...

++++INLOADING DATAFILE 003++++ Imperial Battlesuits Pt1
Here are some pics of my latest project, "battlesuits" for my Imperial Guard army. I've been debating on whether to use them as ogryns or sentinals, but I can do both if I make the bases interchangeable
The base of the model comes from some old Heavy Gear models, its basically the anime version of battletech, which looked awesome when I saw them. 4 hours after seeing them I had the basics of the conversion made and I plan to make 6-8 more of them. The theme appearance wise is to make them look a bit like the suits from Avatar, but really they just sort of built themselves. The gun is based upon the weapons used by landmates from Appleseed the movie (first one) and was made by cutting lots of layers of plasticard into the correct shapes and then glueing them together, followed by using greenstuff to do detail work. Its a time consuming process but the results are really cool if you do it right. Actually this is how most of the guns in 40k I sculpted unless I'm mistaken...
More pics and possibly a tutorial will follow in the nebulous future when I get around to making the rest of these guys.

++++INLOADING DATAFILE 002++++ M1 Merric Battle Tank
Also commonly known as my "Abrams Russes", these are the conversions that I use for Leman Russes in my IG army. All told the conversion takes about 16 hours or so to finish per tank, but I think that the end product is worth it. I'm working on finishing the tutorial for how to build one of your own, and while there are a lot of steps its actually a rather easy build to make.
To make one you will need a rhino, a predator, and a landspeeder as well as a decent amount of plasticard. Not much putty work involved in this one, but you will still need some to fill in gaps in the final product.
The body only takes about 4 hours to make and the turret takes about 8 or so to have finished. Honestly it probably takes me less time to make one now that I've made five but it can vary, the demolisher took a lot longer given the extra work I put into the TUSK armor upgrade kit.
More pics of these guys after the weekend when I get to take some of them on a battlefield at FTW Games.
